Admission Requirements
To be considered for the Master in Business AI & Analytics, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Academic qualification: A completed bachelor’s degree or an equivalent university qualification in a relevant field.
- Professional work experience of at least one year in relevant fields*
- Language proficiency: English language skills at B2 level (CEFR) or higher, as the programme is taught entirely in English.

The application process – explained step by step
The application process is clearly structured, fully digital, and designed to be transparent. This is how you can secure your place at university in just six simple steps:
Enrollment Information
Once you have been accepted in the Master programme and received your registration letter from the University of Cologne Business School, you will get enrolled at the University of Cologne with the status of a continuing education student (Weiterbildungstudierende). For that purpose, you will be required to submit a copy of your university entrance qualification (for example the “Abiturzeugnis”, Attestat, Matura or Baccalaureate) in the original language of the issuing institution.
Information for international students:
Please note that international applicants with a non-German Bachelor degree must also apply for a VPD document (preliminary review documentation) via uni-assist. Applicants who obtained their university entrance qualification or degree in China, Vietnam or India must provide the APS certificate issued by the Academic Evaluation Center (Akademische Prüfstelle, APS) in the corresponding country.
These costs must be covered by the student.
